Waitrose, a British supermarket chain similar to Tesco and Sainsbury's, has always been considered as a higher-end brand, attracting upper-class and posh customers with pricier but top-notch products.
The same can be said in the UAE where the predominant customers found in Waitrose shops are white European expats, similarly found in Spinneys and Geant, with their vast amounts of western products available for expats to enjoy the same stuff as back home.
